USSF MANDATES (Effective 2016)

Below, we have highlighted the changes that are happening in youth soccer as well as the changes CHSA has made in how we form and draft our “rec” teams.  Generally speaking, we are going with a “play with friends,” “bring your team” approach this season, as we are increasing the number of “freezes” per division.  The specifics for each age division is explained below.

As you may or may not be aware, there are a lot of changes coming to youth soccer for the upcoming Fall 2016 season.  These changes will impact every youth player, club, organization and league.

The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) is mandating that all soccer organizations implement several changes by 2016.  Cal South (CHSA’s local governing board) has mandated that these changes also be implemented for Fall 2016.
